Auto shows are all about the concepts. It's the one place the car-buying public can take a look at wild, farfetched, over-the-top designs from our favorite manufacturers. Sure, we know we'll never see any of them on the street, but we do know that concepts are a look into the future of car design.
Audi isn't known for wacky design, even in its concepts, but the company introduced a truly fun new concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show that proved Audi designer Steve Lewis has a little frivolity in his design ethic. It's the new Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro Concept. Just try saying that three times fast!
Stephanie Brinley got a chance to interview Lewis about the new Cross Cabriolet, and what it says about a new, smaller SUV coming from Audi in the near future.
