Lotus, maker of some of the loveliest, lightest and quickest sportscars on the road, introduced a new model to their exclusive line up while at the L.A. Auto Show earlier this month - the Lotus Exige S. The coupe weighs just over 2,000 lbs. before you put your shopping in. So the super-charged 220-hp engine has very little weight to haul and gets excellent gas mileage for what's essentially a street-legal race car.

AutoPacific Analyst Keagan Patrick sat down with Simon Croft, Lotus' Sales and Marketing guru to ask about the new coupe, the history of this iconic marque, and what's next for Lotus fans.
